Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

    Progressive Democrat Newsletter Issue 273

I saw a version of this sticker at the NYC Daily Kos party:

I always thought "Tea Party" sounded kind of silly.

Now the COFFEE PARTY is a grassroots movement I can get behind quite energetically:

The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.

And one of my favorite fair trade coffee distributors, Deans Beans, even offers Coffee Party Coffee, with $3 from each purchase going to support the Coffee Party.
