Wisconsin Focus: Scott Walker, Bad for the Economy

I have argued for years that Republicans are fiscally irresponsible. Nationally the last three Republican Presidents each outdid eachother creating the largest deficits in American history. Here is a local example of Republican fiscal irresponsibility. This comes from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin:

This week, a new report from the nonpartisan Public Policy Forum showed that under Scott Walker, the structural deficit of Milwaukee County would balloon to $100 million by 2014. Scott Walker already has raised taxes every single year he's been in office, to the tune of $40 million, and has borrowed $400 million to avoid dealing with a pension problem he planned to fix. Now the guy is barnstorming the state claiming facts that aren't true about how he'd reduce spending. The truth is, he's grown spending by 35 percent, from $1.1 billion to $1.5 billion while in office. If Scott Walker has shown anything, it's that he can neither spend or save wisely.

It is about time people realize that Republicans represent fiscal irresponsibility, spending us into massive deficits mainly by giving tax breaks to the rich. Click here to learn more about Republican Scott Walker's failures. An excerpt:

From mismanagement of numerous county departments, to budget gimmicks, to layoffs for county workers, to deteriorating infrastructure and many others, County Executive Scott Walker's policies have failed the people of Milwaukee County.
