    GEORGIA FOCUS: Obama, Veterans For Peace, NAACP, Groups and Events

    With Bob Barr in the race for President as a Libertarian, Georgia could actually be in play for Obama. As part of the Dean/Obama 50 state strategy, I urge a strong effort in Georgia this year. We may not be able to do voter signup onsite, so come prepared to stage our event across the street from the Market Village on Atlanta Road.     The Cobb County NAACP monthly meetings are the first Monday of the month at the branch office at 6:30 p.m.

    General membership meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, mostly at the office location but varies based on programs. Members are encouraged to attend these meetings. Join a committee today. Elections of officers are held in even years.
