Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

Progressive Democrat Issue 126: IOWA FOCUS: Ask Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney is coming to Iowa and there are a series of events where Iowa voters can "ask Mitt Romney anything." Well, that already makes Mitt Romney better than Bush...you can't ask George Bush ANYTHING unless you want to risk going to Guantanamo. But given Romney's support for privatization of Social Security, now is your chance to corner him.

    “Ask Mitt Anything” Event Schedule:

Friday, June 15th at 6:15 PM
    Five Sullivan Brothers Center
    200 W 4th Street, Waterloo

Saturday, June 16th at 9:15 AM
Best Western Midway – Dubuque Room
    3100 Dodge St., Hwy. 20 W, Dubuque

Sunday, June 17th at 4:45 PM
    The Rendezvous
    3127 Lucas Street, Muscatine
