VIRGINIA ACTION ALERT: Stop the Massive $6 bil coal plant in Hampton Roads
This comes from the Chesapeake Climate Action Network:
Right now, a Virginia utility is considering building a massive new coal plant in Hampton Roads. At a time when Virginia – and the nation – must move towards a clean energy future, this $6 billion coal plant is a giant step in the wrong direction.
The proposed plant would spew out nearly 15 million tons of global warming pollution – the equivalent of adding almost three million new cars to the road every single year.
You can stop this massive coal plant proposal before it even starts.
