    Pennsylvania wind working group

The Pennsylvania Wind Working Group seeks to grow wind energy in Pennsylvania by capitalizing on strengths and breaking down barriers to development. The most common barriers are those due to a lack of knowledge about wind power and those due to a poor policy environment.

The Pennsylvania Wind Working Group exists to encourage development of wind projects sensitive to environmental and social restraints; to stimulate sustainable markets for generated wind energy; and to integrate the wind industry with other Pennsylvania industries, such as manufacturing and tourism.
