Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

Here's an Obama event in Florida:

South St. Petersburg Florida needs to get people registered and excited about the process. Florida will be a crucial state in the general.

    Saint Petersburg, FL 33705

Next I want to continue to present information on some good candidates in Florida.

I heard Christine Jennings speak in 2006 and was very impressed. She may well have one in 2006 but thousands of votes from Democratic districts went missing. That election remains in dispute, but she is also running again this year. The latest endorsements she has picked up are Clean Water Action and the Sierra Club. She has already been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers, Democracy for America, the International Union of Police Associations AFL-CIO, National Education Association, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, United Auto Workers and many others.

    Volunteer for Christine Jennings here.

And from Joe Garcia's campaign for Congress (25th District) comes a video of Joe at the July 4th parade:

Here is another video of Joe Garcia discussing our Troops:

If you can help out, please visit Joe Garcia's website.
