Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

    Progressive Democrat Issue 80: THOUGHTS

Well, I am still too busy to be doing this, but I will put something together anyway since this is a very critical time to set the stage for November.

About all I will say “thoughts” wise is that I have been watching the analyses of House and Senate races across the nation. This year is becoming a highly unusual one because more and more races that seemed “safe” republican are becoming “competitive.” Now that doesn’t mean we definitely will win big. It simply means we MIGHT win big. More competitive races means more opportunities…but also means more work.

Keep engaged. Election Reform and the 2006 election are big on the agenda. Keep working on both.
