Our purpose is to build civic participation aimed at electing progressive Democrats to office and to promote progressive policies on major issues.
Our mission is to boldly uphold the principles of equality, justice and the democratic process by supporting socially progressive and fiscally responsible candidates and issues, providing training, getting out the vote, and offering public forums and other resources aimed at open political discourse.
The East Valley Young Democrats meet every second Thursday at Chevy’s, 1335 S Alma School Rd, Mesa. Join us for happy hour at 6pm and our business meeting at 7pm.

HISPANIC WOMEN"S CONFERENCE:
The Hispanic Women's Corporation (HWC) was founded in 1981 as a result of a series of meetings among Latina women whose shared experiences sparked recognition that Latinas have unique social concerns, cultural challenges and opportunities requiring exploration. Their diverse backgrounds in corporations, government and educational institutions led to the establishment of the HWC leadership and professional development institutes for women and students. HWC now has become a national force drawing over 2000 women to the Executive, Professional and Youth Leadership Institutes. Mis Negocios en Español will be a special Institute dedicated to the Spanish-speaking/bilingual entrepreneur. Continuing our HWC Youth Leadership Institute is imperative as we focus on the future of our 500 young Latinas annually in their high school years for higher education academic preparation and career initiatives.
