Recently, members of the Michigan House introduced a package of bills intended to prevent unintended pregnancies, create contraceptive equity, ensure medically accurate abstinence education and ensure access to emergency contraception.
The “Prevention First” legislation (HB 5155-HB 5165) will reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and the spread of STD's and HIV.
Contact your Representative and ask him or her to get to work on improving reproductive health care, while maintaining a women’s right to privacy. We have provided a few words to get you started, but personalizing the message with your own thoughts is always best. We have also enclosed a link if you would like to include the CFP “Prevention First” postcard, which will appear below after you enter your location information.
