Democrats 2000 is accepting applications from young candidates seeking office in November for inclusion on the 2007 'Recommended List'.
Placement on the "Recommended List" offers candidates access to New Jersey's largest network of young professional Democrats while raising crucial dollars for their campaigns during their final weeks. "Recommended" candidates also are featured on the Democrats 2000 website and have been the subject of several stories in newspapers and other publications across the state.
If you are under 40 and running for office as a Democrat this November you are encouraged to apply for placement on this year's list. Deadline for applications in August 31. Go here to ask about applying.
GET A JOB: (Help Wanted)
Congressman Bill Pascrell is searching for a highly-motivated, detail-oriented staff assistant with excellent written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities include general reception duty, processing correspondence, addressing constituent matters, staffing events and otherwise assisting the Congressman and district staff in all functions of the office. Candidates require a valid driver’s license. Salary commensurate with experience.
Assemblyman Bob Gordon i ssearching for a Director of Constituent Services/Legislative Aide. This person will work to solve constituent problems, oversee constituent mail, conduct legislative research and staff public events with the Assemblyman. Experience in NJ government a plus. Entry level salary and great benefits. Excellent writing skills required.
