Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

Progressive Democrat Issue 70: VIRGINIA FOCUS

I get this from the Virginia Grassroots Coalition:

It's time for Virginia to have a 21st century source of funding for transportation - one that doesn't make roads and public transit compete for priority with schools, public safety and health care. Both the Governor and the state Senate have put forward plans that will meet this challenge. It's time for the House of Delegates to step up and do what's right for the future of transportation in the Commonwealth: pass a plan that provides a permanent, dedicated source of funding for transportation.

Contact VA Delegates about Transportation and Growth Issues.
