Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

Progressive Democrat Issue 61: Environmental Action

    Also continued from last week:

Tell Exxon's New CEO - End the Disinformation Campaign

ExxonMobil, the most powerful, most profitable, most polluting oil company, claims that it is the world's leading supporter of global warming research. But what Exxon leaves out is that it spends millions of dollars to convince people that global warming is a hoax.

Tell ExxonMobil's new CEO, Rex Tillerson, that enough is enough. The world needs action, not misinformation campaigns. Urge him to move ExxonMobil in a new direction!

And Remember, Exxon/Mobil is still a target of a progressive boycott, with people preferring Citgo, BP, Sunoco or Chevron as alternatives, depending who you ask.
