May 15 Saturday 2pm, Irvine: Americans United for Separation of Church and State: Dr. James Corbett will discuss "Religion, Political Conservatism and the Public Schools". Jim will be discussing what is going on with the history curriculum by the Texas School Board, the science curriculum in Dover, Pennsylvania and the New Jersey case of book censorship.

I look forward to working with you all to finally get a single payer healthcare system in effect in California. Too many people are suffering, even dieing because of lack of healthcare. We will keep fighting until EVERYONE gets quality and accessible heallthcare!
May 22 Saturday 7am-1pm, Irvine: AIDS Walk Orange County is an annual 5 km walk developed to raise awareness of and much-needed funds for HIV and AIDS prevention and care in Orange County, California. Orange County Biodiesel Cooperative: Working together to increase availability of biodiesel in the Orange County region. Biodiesel is better for the environment because it is made from renewable resources and has lower emissions compared to petroleum diesel. It is less toxic than table salt and biodegrades as fast as sugar. Since it is made in the USA from renewable resources such as soybeans, its use decreases our dependence on foreign oil and contributes to our own economy.
