Georgia Action for Health Care
This comes from the Georgia Democratic Party:
After years of struggle, America is finally moving in the right direction on health care, under the leadership of President Obama and the Democratic Congress. But in addition to the reforms proposed by the Obama Administration, Georgia needs real leadership that is committed to solving Georgia's health care crisis.
We need strong legislative action to provide affordable health care to millions of working Georgians. That's why we're asking you to take a moment today and sign our petition to Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss.
Health care is not a political football, and it's time Georgia's Republican Senators put Georgia first, even if it means standing up to Republican leaders like Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney.
It's time to tell the big insurance corporations and their political cronies that open season on Georgia consumers is over, and it's time to play fair.
I also recommend you write letters to the editor supporting the Public Option for Health Care.
