Support Georgia Hate Crime Legislation
This is the third week I have highlighted this, but it is important enough to keep pushing it.

Georgia Equality is asking you to immediately contact your state Senator and state Representative and ask them to call for a hearing on hate crimes legislation in Georgia.

Georgia is one of five states without any form of hate crimes legislation.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Vernon Keenan has repeatedly asked the General Assembly to pass hate crimes legislation based on recommendations from the International Association of Chiefs of Police, which expressly recommends protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons within hate crimes statutes.
