GEORGIA FOCUS: Obama, Veterans For Peace, NAACP, Groups and Events
With Bob Barr in the race for President as a Libertarian, Georgia could actually be in play for Obama. As part of the Dean/Obama 50 state strategy, I urge a strong effort in Georgia this year. With that in mind I give you the Georgia for Obama Group. Join and participate! Register voters, give your time, make the effort.

We are planning to do a Voter's Registration and will provide Barack Obama T-shirts, Buttons, Bumper stickers, Hats, etc.

I need help in contacting a member of the NAACP in regard to a friend of mine, who is incarcerated in the Walton County Jail. He has cancer and has had surgery scheduled for a disc problem he has, but has been denied medical help. He was in the V.A. Hospital, and was taken from there to the Walton County Jail shortly after a lung biopsy, right out of recovery. He was escourted
to the Va. hospital 10-24-08 by walton county, but denied treatment because the deputy would not take his cuffs off. He was there for chemo, and or radiation therapy.
Hope I can help.
