Wallowa County Global Warming Presentation

Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury has tailored his Global Warming presentation to include the very real effects of global warming on Oregon with tools and information to help Oregonians become part of the solution.

Meet at 7pm at the Odd Fellows Hall in Enterprise. Sponsors include the Wallowa County: Democratic Committee, Peace and Justice Network, Chapter of the AAUW, and Fishtrap.

2008 Oregon Black Political Convention

This non-partisan group is meeting at the Embassy Suites Hotel Portland, to discuss issues and conditions of the Oregon black community and to support candidates running for political office who are responsive to them. The tight race between the two remaining Democratic presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, means that Oregon's May 20th primary could be very decisive. Since only registered Democrats can vote in the contest, many voters are looking to change their registration. You can help the Democratic Party of Oregon re-register voters for the primary at your local Earth Day event.
