Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

Progressive Democrat Issue 85: NATIONAL FOCUS

Remember how you felt about Florida 2000? Or Ohio 2004? Ultimately, considerable reform of our election system is needed. But looking short term, we desperately need to get good people elected as Secretary of State and Attorney General to get our elections and state governments cleaned up.

These are positions almost no one pays attention to. But Secretary of State, Attorney General and, in some states, certain other positions that oversee government are so critical to make sure good people get in. Election integrity, catching corrupt politicians and auditing the crony-ridden state governments of Bush America demand that we win these offices.

I have put together an Act Blue site that highlights these extremely important races. In some ways the future of our nation depends on returning integrity to our elections and government. This Act Blue Page is dedicated to the first couple of steps in the right direction.

Please visit my Election Protection Act Blue page and help clean up our elections and government.
