Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. Progressive Democrat Issue 77: Fighting Companies that Collaborate with Spies

Continued from last week because it is pretty darned important!

Alomst every phone company caved in and handed our private phone information to the Federal Government. To put it mildly, I would call this lousy customer service! Verizon, AT+T, etc. are collaborating with spies!

But there is an option...and I have used them for my long distance service for years. Working Assets is the only telephone company participating in the ACLU's lawsuit against the National Security Agency. We believe that the warrantless monitoring of phone conversations ordered by the Bush administration is illegal and unacceptable. We oppose the sale of domestic calling records to the NSA by AT&T, BellSouth and Verizon.

SWITCH TO WORKING ASSETS! They offer long distance and cell phone service.
