Progressive Democrat Issue 68: NEW JERSEY FOCUS

Continued from last week because we have to support the good, effective efforts.

I would like to once again take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support last year.

I hope that you will consider renewing your membership with Democrats 2000 by contributing your $15 annual dues as soon as possible.
As a member of Democrats 2000, you have access to the largest network of young professional Democrats statewide, are eligible to obtain discounted ticket prices for both Democrats 2000 and various candidates' fundraisers across the state, and will receive invitations to several free Democrats 2000 events we will be hosting later this year.

Thanks to your help, and the help of more than 1,200 members across the state, Democrats 2000 enjoyed its most successful year in 2005. Together, we raised more than $70,000 and helped elect 30 young candidates at the local, county and state levels. We also contributed thousands of volunteer hours to campaigns statewide and advocated in support of several issues important to New Jersey's young professionals.
We were especially proud to welcome 2004 Presidential Candidate John Kerry to our Beach Barbecue and to host a rally in support of Governor Jon Corzine with DNC Chairman Howard Dean.

Even with all of these accomplishments, there is no doubt that in 2006 we can accomplish even more!
