Mole's Progressive Democrat

The Progressive Democrat Newsletter grew out of the frustration of the 2004 election. Originally intended for New York City progressives, its readership is now national. For anyone who wants to be alerted by email whenever this newsletter is updated (usually weekly), please send your email address and let me know what state you live in (so I can keep track of my readership).

    Progressive Democrat Issue 65: THOUGHTS

I skipped last week's newsletter. Mea Culpa! Simply put, my heart wasn't into it and I needed a break. But I'm back!

In this issue I want to add a few more thoughts on the Danish Cartoon controversy. But I want to make it clear that nothing I say should be taken as a blanket condemnation of any one religion or nation or people. I think I make that clear in everything I say, but this is an issue that is highly controversial to many. My intention is to look at the issue carefully and recognize the pros and cons on both sides. As you will see below, I am open to any and all comments from readers on this issue. It is not a simple issue and it deserves to be thrashed out.
